Any periodic signal can be tranformed into a trigonmetric formula. Gives instructions for even signals and odd signals. Also identifies the limitations of sampling rates versus Nyquist frequency.

Seasonal Forecasting - representing trends as demand models

Using the ' Winters Exponential Smoothing' model: given a demand with seasonal trends, then the data can be modeled as a forecast such that future demands can be determined with relative confidence. Also gives procedure for implementing new and current data into the model.
